I have worked as an Employment Specialist for over 12 years assisting people with disabilities to obtain employment, training, and community resources. When I was a supervisor for a mental health recovery program, I assisted numerous people with obtaining resources in their communities as well as working directly with Department of Vocational Rehabilitation. My focus has always been on empowering individuals to live the life they choose who have mental health, developmental disabilities as well as serving the elderly. I grew up and have lived in Milwaukee all of my life. I have 3 adult children and a few grandchildren. My adult son has special needs. In my free time I enjoy playing the piano, bike riding, swimming, and getting together with my family.
