More about me
For the past 10 years I have worked with and advocated for individuals with intellectual, developmental and physical disabilities. After experiencing care lacking compassion and empathy, I devoted my life to being the change and showing others a genuine level of respect and comfort. I have served as a caregiver in a group home, a CNA in a hospital, and as a care manager. These experiences have helped shape my career and strengthened my desire to help others. I am excited to join Connections as an IRIS Consultant. IÕm looking forward to having the opportunity to foster growth in participants and encourage their independence. When not working I enjoy spending time with my family, spending as much time outside as possible, and being co-chair on the VOICES committee through Sojourner Family Peace Center.
