More about me
I began working with the IRIS program in 2010. Prior to this I had no idea what self-direction was but what I did know was that I wanted a career that could make a difference in peopleÕs lives. My own personal value statement is, ÒHelp others to live a meaningful, dignified lifeÓ and I feel like IÕve been able to do this by supporting self-direction in Wisconsin.
The first chapter of my career was working on the Fiscal Employer Agent (FEA) side of self-direction. My experience working for an FEA involved outreach, vendor payments, payroll, onboarding, quality assurance and program integrity. This range of experiences have given me a holistic view of how self-direction touches lives. Additionally I have enjoyed volunteering my time helping and spending time with older adults and individuals that are developmentally delayed.
In my free time I enjoy spending time with daughterÕs, particularly engaging in outdoor activities. Many times you can find us enjoying local county parks or up in the Northwoods.
I am incredibly excited to now be working on the IRIS Consulting Agency side of IRIS with Connections and being able to work more directly with our community.
